PHSA provides same employer rehabilitation services in a timely and collaborative manner that ensures all parties have a clear understanding of the injury, workplace and recommended treatment pathways. PHSA’s same employer services are underpinned by the return to work plan document which is central to maintaining a common understanding of the worker’s function in relation to work, and ensuring that their performance of rehabilitation activities continues to build a safe pathway to their return to work goal. PHSA will engage in communication with all parties to ensure everyone stays informed of the participant’s progress and that any changes to the worker’s function are responded to swiftly and effectively to maintain a positive progression towards recovery.
